Pasta Dinner for Don
The pasta dinner for Don was a great success. We raised over $2,000 which was very helpful to Don and Lynn. Thank you to all who worked so hard on it.
Vestry Retreat – April 2022
The Vestry had a one day retreat at St Paul’s in Woodbury. A great day of prayer and planning.
Rev Victors Retirement Party
Our beloved Rev Victor Rogers retired again this year. He had come out of retirement to be our Rector for the last 5 years. We had a celebration of his time with us on Sept 24, 2022. The steel band from his original church, St Micheals in New Haven, played. We all enjoyed the music and a great island themed meal in homage to his Barbados roots.
He’s off to Mississippi now.
Stuffing pocket books for Susan B. Anthony
MOTHER’S DAY
The congregation collected 38 gently used pocketbooks and filled them with jewelry and personal care products. They were given to clients at Susan B. Anthony in Torrington in time for Mother’s Day. In 2023, clients there will receive pillows and pillowcases for the mothers and squishmallows for the children.
